Billing

You can pay your electricity bill through: Online at consumer.uppcl.org, KESCO counters at our offices, Authorized collection centers, Bank payment, or Mobile apps. For online payment, visit consumer.uppcl.org and enter your account number.

CGRF

Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF) is a forum established under the Electricity Act, 2003 for redressal of grievances of consumers. It provides a platform for consumers to get their grievances resolved against the distribution licensee (KESCO).
Any consumer who is aggrieved by any act or omission of the distribution licensee (KESCO) can file a complaint with CGRF. The consumer must have first raised the complaint with KESCO and not received satisfactory resolution within the stipulated time.
A nominal filing fee is required for CGRF complaints. The fee amount depends on the nature and category of the complaint. Details are available in the UPERC (CGRF) Regulation 2022.
As per regulations, CGRF must dispose of complaints within 60 days of receipt. However, the actual timeline may vary depending on the complexity of the case.
CGRF handles complaints related to: Billing disputes, Service connections and disconnections, Meter-related issues, Supply quality complaints, Unauthorized disconnection, Refund of security deposits, and other service-related grievances.

Complaints

You can register a complaint about power outage by calling our 24×7 helpline 1912 (Toll Free) or 18004101912. You can also submit online complaints at the UPPCL complaint portal at 1912.uppcl.org.

Connection

To apply for a new electricity connection, visit the UPPCL consumer portal at consumer.uppcl.org and follow the new connection application process. You can also visit our nearest KESCO office with required documents.

Meter

If you suspect your meter is faulty, register a complaint at our helpline 1912 or visit the nearest KESCO office. Our technical team will inspect the meter and take appropriate action within the stipulated time.
